FAQ on UNO Business Center

UNO Business Center is open for franchise. UNO, in just more than a year in the industry, has already more than 40 branches all over the Philippines. (check the updated list of existing UNO business centers)

For those who are interested to apply for UNO Business Center, review the following guidelines:

1. What is UBC?

-UBC stands for UNO Business Center. It is an independent business entity that engages in the distribution/marketing of UNO products and businesses. One can apply if he/ she is qualified.

-UBC's must stand on its own in terms of own rent, day to day operations, logistics and distribution and marketing of UNO products.

-Only UNO products and businesses are allowed to be practiced.

2. What is the first step for UBC applicants?
-Letter of intent to apply

-Site map of proposed UBC Office:
a. at least 40 square meter
b. must be located in the town proper, near banks, churches, etc.
c. preferably ground floor and must be highly visible
d. must conform to UNO office design and structure (refer to picture)

3. Are there any other permits or licenses to apply?
-Every UBC owners must apply for their own:
a. Business Name
b. Business Permit
c. BIR Permit and Receipt

4. What are the guidelines/ requirements for UBC application?
-P100,000 reservation fee (non-refundable)
Repeat sales worth P100,000 will be given instead

-Balance of P400,000 payable in 30 days

-At least 7 UNO accounts

-Minimum repeat order for Product Packs P69,000 or 10 Packages (shipping not waived)

-Minimum repeat sales P50,000 (shipping waived)

-Post-dated checks not allowed for purchases

-P2,500 GC's can be combined (UBC only not in Head Office)

-Deposit your payments to UNO account only:
UNO BDO Account No. 4950100710

-All products will be shipped via sea freight. Shipment time is 7 working days.

-Pick up cash rebates (see first for rates) for every 50,000 and above orders.

-Terms of agreement - ONE YEAR renewable

-Cut-off dates are as follows:
a. Purchasing of Unilevel - 24th of the month
b. Encoding of Cut-off - 27th of the month
c. Cut-off purchase of distribution - 26th of the month

5. How do I earn as a UBC?
-For every 15 packages you just pay 7,000

-Less than 15 packages you pay 7,150 (VISMIN)

-10% overriding commission on repeat purchase of products

-P300-P450 profit per package

-10% discount on marketing materials

6. What is the procedure for UBC opening?
-Office furnishings and materials should conform to UNO Office standards such as:
a) Color combination and design
b) computer with internal connection
c) TV and DVD player
d) PA and speakers
e) Whiteboard, bulletin board

-UBC grand opening must be filed at least 30 days before and must be coordinated with motorcade and police escort

-UNO will be providing for all marketing and product tarpaulins, picture, posters, wall clock, etc.

7. What do these terms mean?

USO - UNO Sales Orientation
UPP - Universal Prepaid Pinoy
FSO - Food Supplement Orientation
TOPS - Training Orientation Principle for Success
UBC - UNO Business Center
UMC - UNO Mobile Center

8. What is the Monthly UBC Program for new UBC?
-UNO will support new UBC for the next 4 (four) months in training and buy 1 take 1 privilege and will continue to do so on the 5th month depending on the performance and production of the UBC (P200,000 minimum sales)

1st Month (SOFT LAUNCHING) - *Buy 1 take 1 and Special Training
2nd Month (GRAND LAUNCHING) - *Buy 1 take 1 and Special Training
3rd Month (SPECIAL ACTIVITIES) - *Buy 1 take 1 and Special Training
4TH Month (SALES RALLY) - *Buy 1 take 1 and Special Training
5TH Month onwards - *Buy 1 take 1 and Special Training

*All buy 1 take 1 can be purchased before the big event and after the product replenishments.

a) All UBC will be given a privilege ofbuy 1 take 1
b) UNO will send trainers to conduct special training
-Big USO, FSO, TOPS and other trainings
c) UNO will shoulder all expenses of the trainers going to the UBC
d) UNO will shoulder 50% cost of food and venue (maximum of P5,000)

9. What is the Ordering Procedure?
a) Fill-up order form provided by the office and fax it together with the deposit slip. Cut off time is 12 NOON, orders will then be processed on the same day and will be picked up or shipped the following day.
b) Late deposit and fax orders will be processed on the following day.
c) Minimum order requirement:
-Product Packs - 7,300/ 10 access PINS or 3,700/ 10 access PINS
-Repeat Sales is P50,000 minimum
-Below minimum order - distributor discount will be applied (during special events/ promo, no minimum will be required for replenishment)
